A co-founder of BKAM, Bill served from 2012 to 2016 as the Chief Operating & Risk Officer of Juridica Asset Management, which recruited him to enhance the financial, operating and risk processes at the fund.
Bill has more than three decades of investment and risk management in senior strategic roles at a number of multinational public companies as well as private investment institutions. Over the course of his career, he has spearheaded dozens of due diligence undertakings and post acquisition integrations.
Bill co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer at Alpha Financial Technologies, a financial engineering and product development company with over US$2 billion in assets linked to its strategies.
On the public company side, he spent several years at GE in a variety of strategic capacities, serving on the investment, operating and risk management committees at GE Equity and GE’s insurance and GE Capital Markets divisions. Prior to that, Bill served for four years at GE Capital as Director of Funding responsible for risk management and debt capital market.
Prior to his work at GE, Bill was head of Financial Engineering and Sales & Trading for Royal Bank of Canada in New York. He was also head of research and trading for several start-up hedge funds, led strategic risk management at Eastman Kodak’s Treasury Group and was a derivatives trader for HSBC and RBC.
Bill received an M.B.A. from the Simon School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester, where he also earned his undergraduate degree.
